Introduction
FG Creative Floral Gift Design – one of the three modules of the CPD Foundation Diploma Course. Designed for complete beginners or those who are interested in floral gift design and packaging, essential for those who want to develop a career in a flower shop.
This elementary course aims to develop and equip students with a range of hand-tie gift bouquets and floral gift arrangements designs, techniques through the use of different gift packaging materials and various bow tying techniques for different themes. During this hands on and practical course, we will cover 6 different stylish hand-tied gift bouquet and 10 different flower gift arrangement for different occasions: from Korean-style gift bouquets, to natural meadow inspired floral gift basket, hearty flower boxes and many more fun, creative lifestyle floral gift arrangement designs incorporating distinct mediums. Perfect for gifting friends and family or as corporate gifting.
Students will learn the correct techniques to spiral your flowers, learn how to make your bouquet stand and learn different style wrapping. Color matching theories and the understanding of floral design for different special occasions and greetings will be introduced. This course is an important foundation course for beginners/hobbyists and is the basis for those who want to develop a career in the floral industry.

Filled with essential skills, if you’re looking for an inspiring introduction to floral gift floristry, then this is the course for you.
Suitable for: complete beginners or have little knowledge of flower arrangement before are welcome. For students to receive the most benefit from this course, we recommend a course pairing with our EFA or CPD Foundation Diploma to further develop and create more styles after this course.
About the Class
Interactive learning approach – Our classes are fun, informative, friendly and relaxed. We will present students with a handout covering the design of each class, including botanical names of the flowers and foliages used in both English & Chinese, sketches and sample photos to assist learning. Our Instructor will kick start each class with a detailed explanation, following a step-by-step teaching method to ensure students develop the necessary applicable techniques and skills.
Guided by our experienced instructors every step of the way with feedback as you focus on the building blocks of the craft and establishing a strong foundation of floral know-how.
Everything you make is yours to take home – which will be another learning opportunity to observe different flowers and foliages’ full character and vase life.
