Introduction
French art and fashion design has paved the way for many trends and designers of the world. It began with Charles Frederick Worth and led to the likes of Coco Chanel, with Paris regarded as the World Fashion Capital. Inspired by French designs and lifestyle, the art of flower arranging in French Style adds a touch of flair to everyday lifestyle.

As one of our European Master Design Series, FRB French Hand-tied Bouquet Design is available in 3 levels, 16 designs per level; students will dive into the romantic and rich world of French style floral creations. Mixing modern and classic hand-tied bouquet styles, while striking the right balance of being effortless, without being overdone. Colour and material selections, use of different texture of flowers and foliage will be covered to create that unique French vegetative, flemish style bouquets.With a worldwide demand for bouquets that incorporate natural scenery into everyday interiors, this course will broaden the scope of your work and lead to a new style of production.
Students will learn how to master the basic structure of the famous French hand-tied bouquets and the use of structures to form free-standing bouquets for daily arrangements and commercial appreciation.
Suitable for students who have completed EFA Modern European Floral Designs and FG Creative Floral Gift with knowledge on classic spiraling technique is recommended. Also welcome students with basic western flower arranging experience and recommended for students who are looking to equip themselves with renowned world-class flower arrangement styles or interested in exploring different design styles and new skills.
About the Class
Interactive learning approach – Our classes are fun, informative, friendly and relaxed. We will present students with a handout covering the design of each class, including botanical names of the flowers and foliages used in both English & Chinese, sketches and sample photos (when applicable) to assist learning. Our Instructor will kick start each class with a detailed explanation, following a step-by-step teaching method to ensure students develop the necessary applicable techniques and skills.
Guided by our experienced instructors every step of the way with feedback as you focus on the building blocks of the craft and establishing a strong foundation of floral know-how. Everything you make is yours to take home – which will be another learning opportunity to observe different flowers and foliages’ full character and vase life.
