Our design advancing course, IFA Floral Design Creation, inspires and encourages students to think outside the box and put their own interpretation to globally different flower artistry. 16 designs per level, available in a total of 4 Levels, we aim to broaden students’ floristry skills and explore different global design styles, develop and practice more challenging yet practical floral artistry. Students will be able to develop and practice more complex and challenging techniques. We will also introduce modern global designs approach, not limiting to Western and European floristry styles but also American, Japanese and Eastern floral art compositions.

Students will have the opportunity to create seasonal portraits, scenic arrangements, themed compositions, adapting creative designs and material techniques, so as to speak the “Flower Language”.

Each class, through the use of exclusive seasonal materials and access to the Academy’s private collection of vases and vessels, students will be encouraged to take their own spin on each particular concept in focus. Global trends in designs and seasons will also change the way we interpret our course syllabus. This course encourages individual creativity and design concepts taught will be the foundation for bigger scale floral arrangements.

Suitable for students who have completed EFA Modern European Floral Design Concepts with basic western flower arrangement skills, those who are looking to pursue higher level of international flower arrangement design skills, suitable for florist designers who are looking to expand their ability to create bigger scale compositions and demonstrate higher level of product designs.
