Introduction
NUFLEUR floristry design concept is an approach to French contemporary minimalistic style.
Bringing essential taste to the world of flowers and floral décor. A signature, unconventional and radical “NU” (new) way of applying flowers and foliage as a medium. NUFLEUR aims to bring a new, refreshing and striking design approach to everyday lives.
NG NUFLEUR Contemporary Garden Arrangements in Minimalist Design, available in 3 Levels, 16 designs per level; emphasize on “Garden Floral Design”. It is all about bringing the outdoor gardens indoors.
Inspired by European and Japanese Garden Designs, playing a key role influencing the floral trend in dynamic, visionary ways. Garden Floral Design styles are increasingly popular, throughout this course, we will study various modern gardening designs, from: Arboretum, Bulb Gardens, Island Beds, Knot Garden to Labyrinth for example. Noting characteristics of these principles of landscape design and taking it further, adjoining with a contemporary NUFLEUR interpretation to create compositions that are suitable for indoor garden floral arrangements.
We will share stylish landscaping and greenery practical tips and design solutions, but applying it in an unconventional natural way. Applying techniques like paving, terracing, herbaceous boarding and pillowing. We will also play with colours and textures, utilizing various mediums like moss, pebble stones, plants with seasonal fresh cut flowers and foliage on an assortment of containers like terracotta pots, ceramic bowls, stone pots etc, to ultimately, create a contemporary miniature garden for different seasons and thematic garden portraits.
Basic flower arrangement knowledge will be recommended, suitable for students who have completed EFA. Modern European Floral Design Concepts, ECO Freehand Vase Arrangement and/or NF Contemporary Freehand Vase Arrangements in Minimalist Design to gain an introduction to freehand minimalistic flower arranging, aiming to learn different design styles & new skills.

About the Class
Interactive learning approach – Our classes are fun, informative, friendly and relaxed. We will present students with a handout covering the design of each class, including botanical names of the flowers and foliages used in both English & Chinese, sketches and sample photos (when applicable) to assist learning. Our Instructor will kick start each class with a detailed explanation, following a step-by-step teaching method to ensure students develop the necessary applicable techniques and skills.
Guided by our experienced instructors every step of the way with feedback as you focus on the building blocks of the craft and establishing a strong foundation of floral know-how. Everything you make is yours to take home – which will be another learning opportunity to observe different flowers and foliages’ full character and vase life.
